At some point in our lives most of us will have a fitness or athletic
aspiration. It simply may be to take off a few pounds or to feel better
about our health. Maybe it is to complete a triathlon or be in the best
shape of your life at age 50. The establishment of realistic goals is
important for success in any fitness or athletic endeavor.
Many of us are held back by lack of time and/or knowledge. Fear of
the unknown or fear of failure often come into play. Perhaps you have
been injured while attempting to improve fitness or are recovering
from a recent injury and are afraid of re-injury. As well, our busy
lifestyles can make a fitness goal seem unreachable.
